Liz 32 Harry 37

My birthday was in March. I turned 32 like what?! I thought for sure I was 31. Harry's birthday was in April and he turned 37. That's even more crazy to me because he looks like he's 12! For Harry's birthday, I put all of his gifts in bags and hid them around the house. It was a scavenger hunt and I can tell you, I enjoyed it more than he did. For my birthday, we went to my parents and got takeout. Harry bought me a cake and Leah bought me a pint of Sebastain Joe's ice cream since I was not getting an ice cream cake. Harry likes to switch things up but I'm all about the same old same old.

Exhausted from the scavenger hunt.

Got him a man's apron. He would've preferred the boring tan colored one.

My parent's bought me a food processor.

Harry and Leah run a 10K

My favorite part of September was when Leah and Harry ran a 10K. I was not a fan of the 5am wake up call or the cold rainy weather. I was incredibly proud of Leah though for taking up running a few months ago and enjoying it so much that it became her hobby. I was impressed she a race too. She may be my little sister, but I sure do look up to her! And shout out to Harry, the guy who won the race. #shockingnotshocking BUT Leah's reaction was honestly the best... such genuine happiness and joy. It was like she won the race. Her squeal was unlike any other and I'm so glad we have it on video. These two are the best!

She cried when she finished the race.

Cold and wet but supporting my people!

FAMILY LOVE!

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, Harry and I just stayed in. We got dressed up but it was very chilly so we didn't leave the house. Knowing what I know now (COVID) I probably would've made a different choice. We had fun taking these photos though. Harry bought a dozen Roses and put petals all over the house. I used to hate Valentine's Day. I had written a poem many years ago:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I HATE Valentine's Day
And so should You!

Harry is slowly changing my mind about this holiday. Last year, he dressed up and made a fancy dinner. He went back and forth playing a waiter and himself. The dessert was ice cream in an orange. Adorable! This year it was the petals, homemade Korean food and a multiple page love letter. My heart melts when he writes to me.

He's a great guy. Every girl needs a Harry in their lives.
