Sugar Loaf Cove!

So Sugar Loaf Cove was completely underwhelming. I guess our expectations were too high after seeing Split Rock, Gooseberry Falls, and Iona's Beach. Our favorite part of Sugar Loaf was the iron rings. Harry and I enjoyed climbing the rocks and searching for those.

So stretched out. These rings worked hard.

The history of Sugar Loaf Cove is pretty neat!

I always wondered what the orange spots on the rocks were!

Harry's confused as to why this place is cool.

Sandstone!

Minneapolis was unbearable. We're talking a heat wave of 100 degrees a day and that's not including the humidity. We thought we could get away from that by driving up north. Turns out, we couldn't. It was still miserable, but at least we were covered by shade!

Cooling off by the cold cold rocks.

Nature is amazing!

We climbed higher than it looks!

Look, it's a cave!

H is for Harry!

Rock Climbing

I went rock climbing at Vertical Endeavors on Wednesday. WHOA! I knew I was out of shape but rock climbing showed me just how out of shape I actually am. It was a fun night out and I made it up to the top (along with ripping my favorite leggings in the crotch area) but I don't think I'll be taking up rock climbing as a hobby or routine exercise any time soon.

This is good enough, right?

I DID IT!! Now, we can leave and get FroYo!

Trying to figure out how to push off the wall.
