I Woke Up Like This... ENGAGED! And Goodbye, Velma!

When we came back from Duluth we had two days left with Velma before she went back home. We went gallivanting around the city. I enjoyed showing off my ring in every single picture. If you've got it, flaunt it, right?

Totally forgot Harry had to work. We visited him there.

Mirror Maze with Velma!

Velma visited for three weeks. We went on many adventures, but one of her favorite things was going to the Mall of America! She loves shopping!

Sandstone!

Minneapolis was unbearable. We're talking a heat wave of 100 degrees a day and that's not including the humidity. We thought we could get away from that by driving up north. Turns out, we couldn't. It was still miserable, but at least we were covered by shade!

Cooling off by the cold cold rocks.

Nature is amazing!

We climbed higher than it looks!

Look, it's a cave!

H is for Harry!

Frozen Pants

The Frozen Pants trend took off in 2016. I tried it today for the very first time and it was fun. It was COLD! It's -55 here in Minnesota. We have been out of school for the past three days. It's a record low. Aren't we lucky?

It's art!

Minnehaha Falls!

Harry and I ventured out to Minnehaha Falls.

Minnehaha Falls is a memorable spot for us. It's where we had our first date and first picnic together. It's where we had our first photo taken as a couple. Up on the rocks, is where Harry told me he really really liked me and then he kissed my hand.

Minnehaha Falls is beautiful in the summer, but I'm memorized by how it looks in the winter. There is striking beauty in ice.

Harry's pondering stepping on the ice. #daredevil

Enjoying winter together.

Rushing water, foam, ice, snow... Beautiful!

ICE!

Perfection.
