Mosaic Table and HEARTS!

My dad made Harry and I a Mosaic Table. Biebs LOVES drinking water from the plates.

Leah bought Harry a boob mug in Florida. She broke it and was too cheap to buy another so my dad used pieces of it in our table. My mom used the circles to spell out COVID since this is definitely a year to remember.

We also decorated our front door with hearts. Hearts for Heroes is a hashtag around the world. Harry had no idea how to cut a heart. He had success but only when he used a pair of surgical scissors. :-P

Harry wasn't working very much at this time which meant he was home to help me record videos. He was even featured in a few videos which my kids loved!

Gingerbread!

I tried a new craft with my 4 year old class this year. My future mother in law had given me a bunch of fabric scraps. I thought it would be fun to "mosaic" our gingerbread so...

I printed out 40 gingerbread coloring pages.
I cut up a bunch of fabric.
I took out glue and let the kids go at it.

After their art died I flattened and cut out the gingerbread.

I put these guys in the hallway and we received so many compliments. Two other teachers even copied my idea.

I made this guy for Mr. Harry. On the back I wrote, "You are my sugar and spice and everything nice!"

Mosaic Frame

Beads I chose at Michael's.

Sanded down the frame a bit so it wasn't so glossy.

Added Adhesive for the beads to stick.

A few hours later I added in the sanded grout.

Done with the grout!

Cleaning off the beads.

All dry so I added in a picture.

I wasn't sure which picture to go with so I put the second one in and the first one is behind it in case she wants to switch it out.

All done and ready for Cassie!
